My name is Jayde and I am a UX/UI designer, illustrator, and I watch way too many kdramas (ask me for a recommendation!).

I’ve always had a passion for creating since I was young. I was always asked, ‘what do you want to be when you grow up?’ and I always answered, ‘an artist!’. And I am an artist. But I realized that it wasn’t enough for me to simply be one. I wanted to help people and change lives.

How did I get into UX/UI design?

I studied Graphic Design in school and I really dove into UX design after graduating. Soon, that brought me to UX/UI design and learning about the ways you could be both creative and make a difference in the world. It’s amazing to know that good design can change lives.

I enjoy listening to 80s and 90s classics, reading interesting Medium articles— often about random subjects— trying new boba tea flavors and visiting new cafes with friends.
